Mezzanine Floor Function Room

The mezzanine floor function room is a recent addition to the Stanthorpe Showgrounds list of available facilities for hire. Located upstairs in the western section of the exhibition centre, the mezzanine floor has an idea outlook looking out over the main show ring. Accessible by both stairways and/or lift, events in the mezzanine floor function room can be enjoyed by all. The mezzanine floor function room is available to outside groups to host meetings, conferences or workshops and can be tailored or configured to suit your needs.

MEASUREMENTS

The mezzanine floor function room measures 24m x 12m (288 square metres) with:

  • a 6m x 12m (72 square metres) area sectioned off at the western end for a utility area that includes a kitchenette and a bar.​

  • a 3m x 12m (26 square metres) area sectioned off at the eastern end for a staging area that includes a portable stage and lectern.

  • Total available space = 180 square metres.

CAPACITY

The capacity of the mezzanine floor function room is:

  • approx. 100 people sitting

  • approx. 200 people standing.

  • 10 tables and 60 chairs

  • furnishings configured to suit your design

  • two 65cm TVs for presentations

  • fully functional kitchenette

  • attractive bar with bar fridge

  • fully air conditioned (heating or cooling)

  • picture windows overlooking main show ring

  • accessible by lift or two stairways.

Fees

Depending on the function, fees to hire the mezzanine floor function room start from $500/day.

Pro-rata rates are available for events whose duration is less than one day.
