The Stanthorpe Showgrounds main show ring sits pride of place in the centre of the showgrounds. Bordered on the eastern side by High St, the main road into the town of Stanthorpe, events happening in the ring capture the attention of everyone coming into Stanthorpe. Spanning approx. 120m in diameter, the Stanthorpe Showgrounds main show ring can handle most events requiring a large outdoor space, supported by parking, amenities, catering and bars.

The Stanthorpe Showgrounds main show ring measures approx. 120m in diameter = 12,000 square metres.

The capacity of the main show ring is:

approx. 4,000 people sitting
approx. 8,000 people standing.

STOCKMAN'S ARENA

The Stanthorpe Showgrounds has a new addition. Our new Stockman's Arena has enabled the Showgrounds to host an ever increasing range of equestrian events on this dedicated sand based arena. Measuring approx. 100m in diameter, this arena can fully cater for campdraft and rodeo competitions, as well as equestrian events requiring a smaller space. The Stockman's Arena is supported by livestock yards, campdraft office and announcer's box, Stockman's Bar and Canteen and impressive elevated spectator viewing.

The Stockman's Arena measures approx. 120m in diameter = 12,000 square metres.
